13% Jump In Revenues For Macau

The latest land based gambling hub in the world, Macau has released their report for their financial results in March. During the report it is noted that revenues were able to increase by 13% throughout the month.

Macau was able to bring in over 35.5 Billion Patacas during the course of March, that roughly translates over to $4.44 Billion USD. This is a larger amount of money then Nevada is able to earn throughout the whole year. Analysts now predict that throughout the month of April revenues will once again grow by a total of 10-13%.

Macau first started as a small island that offered small land based casinos for local players to enjoy. Over the course of several years the island has grown and become a land based gambling hub for the entire world. Each year their growth increases by 10 to 25% when compared to the same time period the year before. Macau, a former colony under Portugal has now become the largest land casino market in the world.
