The New Jersey Casino Control Commission released a list of its approved online gamblin groups These groups and these groups alone can operate within the state of New Jersey. Others such as PokerStars won’t be able to operate in New Jersey due to “The Rational Group” being declined of a gambling license in the state.
The current groups who have been given the go ahead to operate in the state during soft launch and full launch is Bally and 888, Tropicana and Gamesys, Ceasers – 888 – Amaya Gaming, Golden Nugget -Bally Technologies, Ultimate Gaming and Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Plaza- GameAccount and Borgata -Bwin.Party.
There are other online gambling groups that has applied for a New Jersey E-Gaming License but have yet to be given the go ahead. The reason for this is because these gambling groups haven’t partnered up with a casino yet. These gambling firms include Evolution Gaming, Genesis Gaming, Pala Interactive, Betable, WMS (Scientific Games Subsidiary William Interactive), Paddy Power, Rush Street Interactive and Scientific Games International. Once these gambling groups partner up with a casino they’ll be able to operate in the great state of New Jersey.
The biggest news of all for this list is the fact that PokerStars hasn’t been approved to operate in the state. The Rational Group has been put under fire due to their last CEO and Founder being a part of a known illegal gambling activities. The state of New Jersey fears for the potential loss of their citizens money and that is why PokerStars has yet to been approved.
